VINTAGE HOLIDAY is one of the many beautiful sights you will see when visiting Longwood Gardens, Kennett Square, Pa., during the holiday season. The best time to visit the gardens is during the week. Tuesday through Thursday, the crowds are much smaller. The weekend is really crowded but you still get to experience the mesmerizing effect of the Holiday atmosphere created by the dedicated personnel of Longwood. The conservatory, where this image was captured, is not the only attraction. Walking the grounds of Longwood is a must, there are displays of lights throughout. The walk to the pond and the Italian Water Gardens is sure to fill one with the Holiday spirit! The path is lined with lit trees, some a solitary color, others multi colored.
